In the shade of the trees, a woman watches over a few goats that graze freely around her. Dressed in black and well-warmed against the cold, she draws on the ground with the tip of a stick as she tells the story of her people.

Isalina remembers that, although in the past, transhumance was hard, it was always a celebration. And it had to be, if they wanted to survive in the mountains.

Around her dark silhouette, you can hear the wind, the singing of birds, the bleating of goats, and beyond, an immensity that disappears behind the mountains.

Perhaps this will be the year of her last transhumance.
